K9 Corps Dune Scorcher

The K9 Corps Dune Scorcher is a small ATV-like vehicle with two front wheels and a rear tracked assembly. (The tracks are non-functional. There are small wheels underneath that it rides on. The front wheels roll fine.)

The vehicle is shown here without its two large guns, as my AT conversion will likely not feature the guns unless necessary for more dangerous missions.

The rear shows off the twin exhaust and the track system. The two ball-joints are what the guns mount to. I can imagine they could be used to mount other gear.

Top-down, we can see the pilot's control wheel, and the seat arrangement.

This one shows the vehicle as it arrived (minus a few of the stickers I have already removed.) The guns tilt upward.

The Paint Job

I dismantled the vehicle. It comes apart in 9 separate pieces (not counting the two guns).

Then I painted the beige body. Note: It's not done yet. I still have to paint the seat black, and paint details inside. But so far so good.
