If you know, I would like to attribute it to the proper person)<\/em> custom-made Freighter\/Pallet pod made from parts of the Product Enterprise Eagle, to fit those models:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/eagle-freighter-pallet-pod-real.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1796\" src=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/eagle-freighter-pallet-pod-real.jpg\" alt=\"eagle-freighter-pallet-pod-real\" width=\"600\" height=\"301\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/eagle-freighter-pallet-pod-real.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/eagle-freighter-pallet-pod-real-500x250.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A couple of months back I spent some time modeling a <a title=\"Konami Eagle Pods \u2013 Winch Pod\" href=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/?p=1466\">Winch Pod and a Freighter\/Pallet Pod for my 4&#8243; Konami Eagles<\/a> and also for my <a title=\"Dinky Eagle \u2013 Winch Pod\" href=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/?p=1490\">10&#8243; Dinky Eagles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One thing I modeled was the nuclear waste container. It was a single piece, a fairly simple 3D printed cylinder, with rings and a cap. I would paint the rings and create my own water-slide decals to give them the warning label the canisters had.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/dinky-freighter-canisters-plain-painted-01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1793\" src=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/dinky-freighter-canisters-plain-painted-01.jpg\" alt=\"dinky-freighter-canisters-plain-painted-01\" width=\"600\" height=\"459\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/dinky-freighter-canisters-plain-painted-01.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.huxter.org\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/dinky-freighter-canisters-plain-painted-01-392x300.jpg 392w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can see I found painting the black rings to be quite difficult. Getting anything consistent or even was near impossible for me. I&#8217;m not that skilled at painting models.<\/p>\n<p>So I decided &#8211; hey, I have a 3D printer after all, I don&#8217;t have to print these as a single piece.
