Humility is not a strong suite of the Doctor. Only Peter Davidson's Doctor appeared to have any. His Doctor was the moodiest, and led me to this story. This is a cheap hat found at Michael's craft stores for around a dollar. It's originally a cowboy hat, but with some persistent brim-bending, it makes the perfect Who Hat!

This was shot in Bird Park in Walpole, MA. There is a gorgeous stone band-stand there that filled in for Logopolis for me. It is important to note that the episode "Logopolis" was the on in which the Doctor found Tegan in the first place after the Master kills her aunt Venessa. Logopolis is a planet of mathemeticians. The Doctor made his way there to have the skilled people fix his TARDIS chameleon circuit so it could effectively disguise itself again.

Tegan has no love for the Master who killed her beloved aunt Venessa.

These Dalek eye-stalks are seen in the 1963 and 1965 Doctor Who Dalek films. The posts of this fence-like structure is made up of several Finger Bike display stands I found at KB Toys for about a buck a piece. The copper wire was bent by me to look like an electric fence of sorts. These Dalek eye-stalks are seen in the 1963 and 1965 Doctor Who Dalek films. This was supposed to be a Dalek door, but it's only here for appearance. It doesn't open. The Master's robe is a velveteen number from a WWF wrestling figure. It is quite clear the Doctor has lured the Master here, but for what purpose?

These Dalek eye-stalks are seen in the 1963 and 1965 Doctor Who Dalek films. The Master is a basically unaltered Emperor from Star Wars. My inaccurate Daleks' construction can be seen here: The jagged word bubbles of the Daleks are meant to connote a harsh, metallic voice, which anyone who has heard a Dalek knows well! This is significant because it shows that the Master trusts the Doctor to be honest even at his peril. My inaccurate Daleks' construction can be seen here:

It isn't unusual in the Doctor Who universe for mortal enemies to make some kind of deal that leaves them untouched, but still enemies. This is one such case. The red and black Dalek is the Supreme Dalek. It is widely suspected that the Dalek manipulator arm is in fact a toilet plunger. Mine is the base of a chess piece, so don't worry... The black and gold Dalek is the Command Dalek, in charge of squadrons of Battle Daleks. Hasbro's Emperor Palpatine was a close enough fit for the Master that I didn't have to alter him any. I discarded the idea of giving him a beard and moustache. I just thought ie was so old and decrepit now that even hair won't grow on him.

Click here to hear the Dalek! The red and black Dalek can be seen in the 1960s films as well as the TV shows, but in the films his manipulator arm has a claw instead of a plunger. The Master? Grovelling? What a surprise. This self-serving villain would make a deal with anyone for his own survival.

Well.... it's one word!

The TARDIS fades out as the Doctor leaves the Master to his fate. Click here to hear the Dalek.

Yep. That's the word alright! The regret the Doctor talked about includes not only what he did to Tegan but what he did to the Master. Even the fact that the Master is responsible for countless murders doesn't help the Doctor forgive himself for what he had to do.
