This is a flourescent light diffuser from an overhead panel in our office at the time. We shone red light through it for an eerie overhead effect. This is a line from the Director's Cut of "Aliens" which did not appear on the film's first release. In it, the aliens just keep coming and coming, then suddenly just stop. The Marines speculate why they just stopped. Hudson suggests a reason. Funniest line in the film. This is Vasquez's shoulder light, added in Photoshop. After the futile battle in Loading Dock 7, Vasquez ditches the heavy artillery, pulling out her Pulse Rifle.

In an attempt to personalize Hicks' armor, I applied this sticker of a ladybug that my daughter gave me. Another great line from Hudson in the film, "Aliens". Apparently, the Adventure Team is known for solving insoluable problems, such as this one, where mutated aliens escape in a genetic lab. Hudson's right hand is not a standard Classic Collection hand, known among some collectors as the Lobster Claw because its scale is a little too large, but the hand that came with the figure, a football player. The hand was more open to allow the figure to hold a football. This hand is excellent for things like using a computer. Hand swaps are easy among CC figures.

GENETRIX - just a random name to imply genetic research. Though the picture doesn't show it, the X is a double helix of atomic spheres. Light flare looks like something from Photoshop or Lightwave, but is actually how it appeared. Behind the sconce is a TapLight light. The moulding is plastic wall moulding painted semi-matte black. Details on its construction can be found on the "Behind the Scenes" page. Click here to see how it was constructed. This is a model of the Pulse Rifle from the movie Aliens. It was part of a "Hicks vs. Aliens" 12" figure set produced by Kenner around 1997. In the film, "Aliens", this line is used by Hicks when Ripley suggests they take off and nuke the site from orbit. Gorman tries futilely to change her mind, but Hicks is convinced she's right. Where was Hicks storing this huge field phone? And why not just use his wrist communicator? Even I don't know.
