- *NEW*
-
Announcing the release of my latest retro-coding project for the Commodore
64 and 128, using GEOS. It's geoGlyph, a full-featured match-three
game that gives you a Timed or a No Pressure option, and will save
your current game on quitting. There are a number of options to customize
your gameplay experience. The game includes sound as well as full-color
C64 graphics. Please see
my geoGlyph page.
- All links to the right (my reviews over the past nearly-decade)
may be broken, since the Sci Fi servers have moved.
March 1, 2009 - *NEW*
- I don't update this list much, obviously, but I am doing things,
updating my page, adding stuff, at times. My
Cartoon panel page gets updated fairly often.
- Right now I'm working on geoGlyph,
a Bejeweled-like game for the Commodore 64 and 128 under the GEOS
operating system. In fact I'm keeping a day-to-day
dev diary to document every little step in the project, including
the frustrations involved in coding in Assembler.
December 21, 2008 - *NEW*
- Today I shot my Doctor Who Christmas Card, an almost annual tradition
for the last few years. Instead of using my own Doctor character,
I used the David Tennant figure, with Martha Jones. I used the top
of my TARDIS, and the new Cloverfield Monster Hasbro sent me for review.
- I also fixed an issue where my adventureteam.com web server stopped
allowing me to refer to images on that site from my other sites, causing
my Toys page to look strange for
the past few weeks.
- Three new cartoons.
November 18, 2008 - *NEW*
November 25, 2007 - *NEW*
- I completely revamped my Cartoons
page. It now shows more of my work and categorizes it better.
It also shows the strip Lynn Johnston sent me in 1983.
- I updated my list of Cool
Stuff reviews for the Sci Fi Channel on the right there. -->
- A pumpkin I
carved this year.
- I've updated my New
Adventure Team page as more great new reproduction GI Joes come
out.
- Some rants over the
past year.
January 20, 2007 -
July 31, 2006 -
- I have been updating my site, just not this index page.
- Mostly I've been concentrating on the Doctor Who series 2 which
aired in the UK this spring/summer. My Doctor
Who Fun page is dedicated to that time period, and all the fun
Doctor Who things that have happened my way this last few months.
- Yesterday I
appeared as a guest on The Whocast, another great Doctor Who podcast
from the UK. Here's a page of links of stuff we talked about.
- I've also been enjoying paper models, and especially those of
Ralph Currell at Currell.net.
His R-100 and
R-101 dirigible
models are incredible, and as good as they are, his Spaceship
One is even better!
March 9, 2006 -
- I have introduced a new Doctor
Who Fun Page, where I hope to showcase some of the cool or fun
stuff I find related to Doctor Who
- I put some new Twins
up
February 22, 2006 -
- The GI Joe Collector Club just announded their exclusive "freebie"
figure for joining up. And it's an AT
Foreign Adventurer!!!
February 3, 2006 -
December 20, 2005 -
- Doctor
Who - A Christmas Home Invasion - In honor of the upcoming Doctor
Who Christmas TV episode "Christmas Invasion", I created
a short, short Doctor Who story for the season.
- My Christmas greeting to you all:

November 26, 2005 -
- Doctor
Who - The Bonus - in 3D! A short follow-up to The
Second Key. Happy Thanksgiving!
- Last week sometime I was blogged. That means word of my "The
Second Key" story got out, and in one day I got over 25,000 hits
on my site, (up from an average of between 2,000 and 3,000). Well,
today I got Yahoo'd
in the UK.
November 22, 2005 -
- Doctor
Who - The Second Key - Inside the TARDIS - After finishing
my epic photo story, I have released a series of pages going behind
the scenes to describe how and why I did it. It's a good read if you're
into the guts of how these things are done.
November 4, 2005 -
October 10, 2005 -
October 4, 2005 -
- For those waiting for Segment Six of The
Second Key, thanks for your patience. I'm shooting the
final scenes within the week. Once that's shot, it'll only be a day
or so before Segment Six will be up for viewing.

- With this much snow, one photo story wasn't going to be enough.
This one is called Snowy
Rescue and is an Adventure Team story concepted by Charlotte.
December 6, 2003 -
- Snow in New England, and you know what that means! Photo-Story!
A short story shot earlier today, edited and published in the afternoon

- New photo story. Taken in Newfoundland this past summer, it recounts
a day of Remembrance
for the Adventure Team Commander. Now with Behind
the Story.

- New GI Joe comic - Treasure
Hunter.
- Issue #6 of "The Agents" comic book by Ben Dunn and
Kevin Gunstone (published by Image) has a credit for my design of
Tomahawk 3: Special Thanks: The design of Tomahawk 3 was created
by Sean HuXter. (The capitol X was in recognition that in issue
4 he mis-spelled my name attempting to give me credit for my design.
Thanks, Ben.

September 14, 2003 -
August 28, 2003 -
- New Photo Story. Mountain
Retrieval. This one was shot while I went on a vacation back to
Newfoundland. Enjoy.
August 24, 2003 -
- I haven't updated recently because I've been on vacation to Newfoundland
for three weeks, and I've had a week to recover. This shall bear some
fruit for my web site, but not quite yet.
- The Agents #4, which promised a credit for me for the creation
of their Tomahawk 3 (based on my Thunderbird 3 updated model) did
not come through. Rather than credit me, he credited Sean Hunter,
who is notably not me. I have asked for a corrected credit.
June 14, 2003 -
- I have removed the page describing my model being used on the
cover of "The Agents #2" comic book by Benn Dunn and Image
Comics. I've been in contact with the artist, and we'll see how it
goes.
June 2, 2003 -
- General Lee takes some leisure time. This is the Ken "Rhett
Butler" outfit on Hasbro's General Lee. Check
it out! It's an amazing quality outfit! This is for a secret project
I'm not revealing quite yet. And it's nothing to do with General Lee.
May 13, 2003 -
May 9, 2003 -
- My latest project, nothing to do with toys, was announced today.
That's right. Turbine Entertainment and Vivendi Universal Games will
be teaming up to create Middle
Earth Online! My job will be Technical Artist on the project.
In addition to making sure the art gets in and working, I get to create
some myself. I've already modeled a few swords, and some ruins. I'm
stoked!
April 27, 2003 -
April 9, 2003 -
April 7, 2003 -
- I took some pics of the Recruit
Fuzzheads. A side-by-side-by-side-by-side shot with enlargements.
April 2, 2003 -
- I review ERTL's
compound bow from the Bill Jordan figure. Just the bow. That's
why I bought it.
- Got myself a digital camera, finally. It's a Nikon 2100. Here,
I shoot my introductory shots, in low light and in less-than-ideal
conditions, and the results are good!
March 7, 2003 -
- Charlotte and Daddy's experimental short film is available for
viewing. Less than a Meg. Check
it out.
March 5, 2003 -
February 26, 2003 -
February 22, 2003 -
- I put some of my
short fiction up. This was available on my old web page, but when
it went away, so did this. But I thought you may want to read some
of my
short stories.
- Three of the stories are available as eBook downloads for Palm
OS eBook reader. Go to my
Fiction page to download them.
February 16, 2003 -
February 13, 2003 -
- My Doctor Who story, "Redemption"
now has PopText.
Drag your mouse over any picture for background and story information.
I also fixed several linking problems and added some Dalek sound-effects
which can be accessed by clicking on appropriate links.
- I also added large storyboard images for my Polar Rover story.
They were missing. Go to my "Inside
Scoop" page, and click on the small storyboard images.
- I added newer pictures of my New Adventure Team. The Tech
Adventurer and New Sea Adventurer and the whole
AT Group.
- I put up a picture of my Doc
Savage custom, though it isn't finished yet.

- Now this is a treat! I have been given audio files of the Talking
View Master GI Joe reels! After some exhaustive audio restoration,
these files are now available for listening. You can listen along
to the pictures at my GI
Joe View Master page!
January 19, 2003 -
- I have added several vehicles to my GI
Joe Motor Pool page. The Jeep
page has been updated to show images of all the new painting improvements.

- My new Adventure
Team is now on display at my office. Featuring as many of the
original AT figures as I could reproduce, including one vintage.
November 18, 2002 -
October 26, 2002 -
- GI Joe Peter Pan record sound files have been updated.
They are now much smaller to download, and the static has been digitally
removed! Check them out at their pages here:

August 29, 2002 -
- I have found some of the old Commodore
64 programs I wrote, runnable under the GEOS operating system.
I have created a page which describes the programs, and where you
can download them to work with VICE, an excellent Commodore emulator.
August 27, 2002 -
August 20, 2002 -
- I
finally put up my old 3D page again. This page highlights some
of the work I've done in the past decade using 3D Software. You can
access it also by clicking on the "3D" button above.

My aunt found photos of me playing with my childhood
toys. This
is how it all began, folks.
-
More
Stuff. I added five pictures of some of the cooler, interesting
1:6 scale items I use to dress my sets for photostories.
March 03, 2002 -
-
Today I put up my daughter's photo story: Barbie
Finds the White Tiger. This is a shoot we did last summer.
-
I have begun my page of Stuff.
This is 1:6 scale items that are great for use in dioramas and photo-stories.

-
I just added a quick shot of a mock-up of my Adventure Team
Headquarters Board Room.
-
I made a second attempt to put my GI
Joe vs. Aliens story elsewhere, freeing up some space here.
The good news is it works. The bad news is there's a banner at the
top of each page. Please bear with the banner until I can arrange
a better spot. Also, some images may be broken now, because I haven't
transferred them yet. I'm working on it.
-
My other photo stories are also now at AdventureTeam.com.
See larger, sharper images of Top
Cop Arrives and The
Package
-
I added some scans from the "Secret of the Mummy's
Tomb" box to my Mummy's Tomb Revisited
page. Check them out! Click on the small versions for large pics.
-
I made some new customs. A quick Snake Eyes,
a quick Samurai Warrior,
and a nice conversion from
cruddy handcuffs to ones with real chain.
-
I updated the Adventure Team Logo for
people to use for printing or other purposes. The image is a GIF
with transparent background, and only 11K, despite being 1000x1000
pixels. This one was hand-digitized from the new Mummy's Tomb box,
and is highly accurate.

New digs. This is my new web page. The page I used
to hold at Turbine Entertainment Software Corporation (my employer)
was 180 megs. This one is under 10. So to say this is a bare-bones
site is an understatement.
-
This page will be mostly devoted to my GI Joe hobby.
-
So far I have the GI Joe View
Master reels up.
-
I also have my GI
Joe vs. Aliens photo story.
-
Also, Top Cop
Arrives is up.
-
Sorry, the RANT button is invalid at the moment...
I haven't had time to set it up yet.

- Looks like America swallowed the blue pill. - Sean Huxter
- What this country needs is Separation of Church and Hate - Sean
Huxter
- I'm a friendly enough sort of chap, I'm not a hostile person to
meet. But I think it's important to realize that when two opposite
points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does
not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for
one side to be simply wrong. - Richard Dawkins
- "There are a lot of bad Republicans - there are no good Democrats"
- Anne Coulter - a dangerous person who has lost any solid contact
she may have once had with reality.

change is good.
- I went to the Boston Childrens Museum this weekend because
I heard they have some REALLY OLD children there
